Tamara Janzen

Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development, Alberta Pensions Services Corporation 

Tamara Janzen has over 25 years of progressive management experience and has worked in various Human Resources (HR) roles since 2005. As the Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development at APS, Tamara Janzen has responsibility for the organization’s human resources strategy and activities, including organizational development, change management, external education, succession planning, employee engagement, benefits and compensation, staffing, and promoting a values based culture. During her tenure at Alberta Pensions Services, Tamara has been the champion of the organizational values, has introduced Appreciative Inquiry as a means of strategic planning, program development and change management, and has championed APS’ leadership and career development program.

Tamara holds an MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University, has completed the Rotman School of Management Executive Program, Executive Leadership: Personal, is certified in ProSci (ADKAR) change management, and is a certified True Colors Facilitator. Tamara enjoys various volunteer activities such as one on one mentorship, small group leadership, speaking engagements and has served as a board member for several charitable organizations over the last 25 years.
