Vice President, People, Wellness and Innovation, Alberta Blue Cross
With over 25 years experience in human resources Mark Razzolini has always been a purpose-driven leader who believes people are the foundation of any successful workplace.
As vice-president of People, Wellness and Innovation, Mark leads human resources, facilities, learning and development, wellness and innovation at Alberta Blue Cross. With Mark’s wellness-centered approach to leadership, Alberta Blue Cross has received the Premier’s Award for Healthy Workplaces for 5 consecutive years, and the Healthy Leadership Award from the province of Alberta. Alberta Blue Cross has consistently been named Top 70 Employers in Alberta and received the award for Top 10 Cultures in Canada.
As an active volunteer in Edmonton, Mark focuses his energies on social issues, youth and of course, wellness. He was invited to join a team of prominent business leaders to launch the Experience Canada Youth Employment Program in the Province of Alberta. He has been a member of the faculty of business mentorship program at the University of Alberta and has served as a Director on the Board of the Boyle Street Co-Op. In 2014, Mark was invited to join the Alberta government’s Workplace Wellness Advisory Committee to further the wellness of Albertas workforce.
Mark’s personal time is spent in the political arena. He has volunteered on all federal, provincial and municipal campaigns since 1985. In 2005, he received the Alberta Centennial Medal.
